A/E Firm Overhead Rates: 2023 Update

Join us for this important and timely virtual training event in which instructor Dan Purvine will discuss current events affecting A/E firm overhead rates and CPA firm indirect cost rate audits. Topics will include an update on PPP loan forgiveness and Employee Retention Tax Credits, the effects of inflation and salary pressures on A/E firm public sector contracts, and the current status of proposed changes to the AASHTO Audit Guide.  Dan will discuss FAR requirements used to determine allowability of costs, as well as how to identify and evaluate risk areas related to the development of A/E firm overhead rates.  The course will also include a Q&A session with representatives of WSDOT’s audit group.  This training event will be presented in two 3-hour sessions (each with a short break) over two days.
